Event Coordinating:

Organized and successfully planned over ten events per year, including, but not limited to, corporate showroom markets, private business dinners, and company-hosted parties.

Responsible for securing locations, working with various vendors for flowers, table rentals, AV equipment, catering, etc., managing and communicating RSVP updates with the internal team, developing event budgets and managing expenses, and ensuring that all marketing assets are approved and sent to the appropriate people/places.​​​​​​​​

Types of Events:

Corporate Showroom Spring & Fall Markets: These events are typically comprised of a presentation or panel with an attendance of 60-80 individuals (about ten showroom events per year). My responsibilities include liaising with showroom buildings regarding marketing assets, coordinating with showroom managers to establish event budgets (covering A/V requirements, catering, and marketing materials), and creating RSVP forms using Google Forms, along with providing weekly updates. Thibaut has five corporate showrooms in the US, including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas, and Chicago, as well as one in London. These markets happen twice a year, with Thibaut hosting a presentation or panel event in each showroom once a year. When additional support is required onsite, I am typically involved in handling administrative tasks on the event day, including attendee check-in, distribution of presentation materials, and setup of the showroom for lunch, among other duties.​ See here for an example of a corporate showroom event in NYC.

Private Business Dinners: These occur in major cities (Nashville, Chicago, Birmingham, NYC, Seattle, etc.) and can be in partnership with a media outlet, (typically about 1-2 media dinners and 2-4 private Thibaut dinners per year). My responsibilities include vendor outreach, main point of contact for the restaurant, working closely with our graphic designer to create branded name cards and/or menus when applicable, coordinate with a photographer in the various cities to ensure media coverage, help manage RSVPs, menu selection with my managers, florist coordination, table linen and napkin customization, etc. See here for a link to event coverage from a dinner I planned with Veranda magazine in Birmingham, AL.

Company-hosted parties/events: Once a year in the spring to kick-off the highly anticipated High Point furniture market, Thibaut hosts an exclusive party at the Julian Price mansion. Responsibilities include: event logistics (band hiring, poster creation, giveaway items, photographer coordination, etc.), social media creation during the party, and day of set up on location. See here for an event recap and some photos from this year's party. Other events include coordinating presentations in private venues to target key cities in the market. This year, I was heavily involved in the event coordination for presentations happening in Charleston, Nashville, and Birmingham. Responsibilities included: vendor outreach, catering, AV logistics, room layout, marketing assets, gift giving, etc.
